A DIY tutorial on how to remove and repair your 2nd generation (2002-2006) Honda CR-V daytime running lamp system. Repair procedure is outlined on identification, removal and re-soldering of failed module joints. A new module at Honda could easily cost upwards of $150+ but this fix took less than 20 minutes and almost $0 to repair (aside from having the right tools and solder).

This procedure will be very similar for other generations of CR-Vs with the notable exception of module location. Generally speaking the DRL module location on the CR-Vs are relatively the same; typically located under the driver's side dash panel around the kick panel area.
